Yes, School is out for me for the summer. No more fighting my way down the crowded hall to my classroom at 7:45am,trying not to breath the overwhelming aroma of way too much and too many different Perfumes and Aftershaves for that time of the day.
No more slipsliding through the snowstorms and icy roads. No more students expressing how much they hate the computers in my room (really it is not the computers it is them) No more repeating the same instruction over and over and over.
No more telling them NO FOOD, NO DRINKS, NO GUM ALLOWED in the Lab and please clean up your area before you leave and push in your chairs. No more having to tell them "Hey watch your language in here" and seeing the surprised look on their faces because they think what they said is not "bad language".
But you know what I think most of them I will miss, so many good teenagers, they are a lot of fun to be around. And the best thing of all is that Sophomores turn in to Juniors during the Summer.
