I am having a hard time getting back to writing a Post every once in a while. I do have have a few things on the back burner I can add on Family History and some other miscellaneous thoughts buzzing around my brain and not spending enough time on the computer is not the reason why.

In the meantime here is a cute cat picture I found, they are practically identical to the cat we owned and loved for many years! Still miss (Kooter) even though she has been gone a few years now.

I must have had a dozen thoughts on subjects to Blog about but was unable to find anything that really interested me enough to write about them.  I almost wrote about my poor ancestors who spent time in the Victorian Work Houses of England. After doing research and collecting pictures and information I was way too sad and depressed for that.  Maybe another time.

Other thoughts were Wedding Portraits and Family Portraits over the ages on my Family Tree. Alas they too sit in  folders on my desktop.

One day I was tired of doing laundry and pretty much fed up of doing it when I thought back to my childhood and remembered how difficult laundry day was for my mother, that too is sitting in a folder waiting for the inspiration to finish it.

I am working on a cousins by marriage Post that is interesting to me, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Feeling Guilty

I have really neglected posting since the last time. I have been thinking what to write about and do have a couple of ideas I have been working on. I will continue to do that. I have been very busy with Family History Projects. Been in contact with cousins and relatives in France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and England. it has been a lot of fun and I have gained a lot of new Family History.
Been spending a lot of time with my Grandsons I love being a Grandma!
My new Jane Austen Widget got it right today, I will conquer my time and get better organized. For those of you who don't know Jane Austen is one of my favorite Authors and Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel of hers. The A&M version with Colin Firth also the best.
Anyway should be back on task soon.

Live Writer

After much persuasion by my sister I am going to try Live Writer. I actually hate having to learn something new to do my Post’s but this  does seem like a better way.  Watch this Space

Back To Winter

We did have a brief January thaw but now we are back to Cold and Snow. Meanwhile my son and his wife are in beautiful Hawaii for 10 day's. We have Jackson and Isabella and they have been really good so far.
Rachel and Family are back in Holland and I have been on Skype a couple of times with them. Rachel still has jet lag but the boys seem to be back to their usual selves, Collin was happy to go back to his Pre -School.
My cousins in New Zealand want me to go and visit them, they extend an invitation to me on a regular basis. I think it would be an awesome place to visit. I even went online and checked out the airfares yesterday. The worst thing to me would be the 23 hour journey. I thought 12 to England was a long time. I am posting a Pic of Collin and Ethan watching New years Eve Fireworks in the snow.

How Embarrasing!

Ages since I posted, and I do or should have plenty to Blog about. I am thinking that I got out of the habit or maybe I have been too busy ( I don't think that is it) because you can always find time to do the things you want to do. I have been waiting for a few more pictures of my Grandsons. Winter really gets to me and some sad news from relatives far away. I do have a long weekend off school so I will try and get my act together.

I Have Plans

I don't believe I have very many people who follow my blog, unlike my sister Jan who seems to be getting a world wide following. Well deserved I might add. I have had a busy week and have not been able to plan what to do next. Promise I will be back.

Catch Up

I did bring my camera today so watch this space for more Classroom Pics. Yesterday I was off school as I had a Check up at the doctor's. All good news Blood Pressure, Diabetes under good control and even a little weight loss to report. Last Evening was a monthy Dinner out with some old friends. We decided on a new Chinese place called "Chinese Chef's" it was quite good and we had our usual good time visiting with each other. I should have got some Pic's didn't think about that. tonight I have the BYU Football Game to look forward to. This weekend is our Church General Conference I always look forward to that. Rainy weather is in the Forecast (Sorry Conference visitors, but Welcome to Beautiful Salt Lake City anyway)

Rainy Monday

I love the Rain! Must be the Brit side of me. Also love my Blog now. This morning I decided that at present I have my Blog life and my real life. Think I like the Blog life the best today. Woke up to rain and took my usual route to work to be there by 8am. What happened? I get to the usual turn off and the roads are blocked. The detour took me off to some crazy place furthur and further east of where I needed to go. I had no clue where I was. I turned around and went all the way back down the Airport Road then went furthur West to see if I could get to the school that way. One hour later I made it, after winding all through sub-divisions I had never been in before and getting in the back way to the High School. Thank Utah Highway Department!! Jan (my sister) I have been trying to leave comments on your blog but they never seem to show up. I love the Stamp Pillows on your Blog today.

Not Much To Say

I have been trying all week to get more pictures on the Blog but have not had the time. I wonder if it could be because I worked 14 extra hours this week at School!!

Lazy Sunday

I spent part of the day trying to find suitable photo's to put on the Blog. That is as far as I got. We had a big change in weather tonight. A cold front came through with lots of rain. Tomorrow is Labor Day we have been invited over to dinner to a Sister in our Ward who is a widow. Paul is her Home Teacher and has been helping her out with some Yard work this Summer. America is anxiously watching a Hurricane that is heading for New Orleans again, it is supposed to get to land tomorrow afternoon. How sad for all the people being evacuated.

So tired today. I can't believe I stayed up to watch the USA/Spain Basketball Game on the Olympics. Go Team USA good job!! Early night tonight, school tomorrow. I do have a lot more Pics to Post. thanks for the comment Debbie and Stacie, that is encouraging.

My day started out with watching the Grand Dogs all Morning as Matt and Shannon both had to work. After they picked them up I went to the bank then over to Master Muffler to find out why my car has a squeak . I thought it may be a brake problem. They were too busy to look at it but he did come out and listen. Told me he did not think it was the brake and it would be OK to drive it home and bring it back tomorrow. I know nothing about cars! After that Melinda and I went to Wal-Mart and Costco then to Morelies Mexican Resturant for Dinner. Then came home and I spent another exiting couple of hours watching the Olympics. Micheal Phelps has got to be superhuman!
