| Marjorie Chipman Miles 1901-2002 Eleanore Victoria Miles 1903-1967 Daughters of Herbert Delahayes Miles and Delia Hulbred Gallup. Grand daughters of Fredrick Billing Miles and Ella Victoria Smith. I am connected to this family through the sister of Ella Victoria Smith, Fanny Miles Smith who married my great grand uncle - William Proudfoot Craig Begg a Presbyterian minister who left Scotland and met Fanny in New Brunswick, Canada. When I found this picture today it made me smile, how they could be so happy wearing those huge bonnet's is a mystery to me, or how could they walk without falling over from the weight of them. |
