Well, this time of the year I suppose they could be…
Then again it is all in how you look at it. When I was a young girl my friend Doreen and I would spend hours playing in the Churchyard over at our local Church. When I was home several years ago it had been turned in to a Radio Station...
It did not seem quite right to me, I hoped someone had recorded all the names written on the Gravestones.
I have visited a few graveyards in my life one that stands out in my memory is Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
Standing in silence to honor the dead as the Guard changed at the grave of the unknown soldier, and feeling the sadness at President John Kennedy’s eternal flame I will always remember.
So to me not scary places but places of contemplation information and hope in the hereafter, because the Savior taught us that there is life after Death.

I'm going with "YES" graveyards are scary....especially this time of year.
Sometimes scary...but sometimes very peaceful...xv
No, I've never found them scary. Often very sad and tranquil though, and it upsets me when I see gravestones vandalised.
