John and Rachel

Rachel and John were married 3 months after Matt and Shannon. They chose to be married in California as it was right after Christmas and we thought the weather would be better there. We were very wrong the day of the wedding the Bay area was caught in the edge of a Hurricane. When we came out of the Oakland Temple with what seemed like about 100 other Brides the rain was coming down in sheets and the Palm Trees were blown sideways. So no Temple Grounds pictures for anyone that day. The two I am posting were taken at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building a week later in Salt Lake City where we had another Reception. The evening of the wedding John's parents gave a lovely reception at their Ward Building. Rachel has most of the pictures packed away somewhere so I will have to add more later. We love John so much, what a very fine person he is, not only brilliant and handsome but a great husband and a wonderful Father to our grand children.
